There is crabgrass growing on the greens and dead spots all over. Whoever the greens keeper is should be fired. Hitting out of mud and muddy water in the traps stinks. I don't know how much sand costs, but that would have been the bare minimum to do to make the course a little nicer. Maybe the owner bought Him or Herself something nice, but it wasn't at the golf course. Well, they sold the front property and have used the profit on- nothing at the course. The greens were not being properly maintained and the traps were atrocious. Opened in 1994, The Players Club course was the latest addition to the Foxfire Golf Club family.

The people who own the course said when they sold the Foxfire course for developing that they were going to use the windfall to upgrade the Players Club, which had slowly been deteriorating since it first opened up. First things first, I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I had to.
